My husband and I moved to San Luis Obispo a few years ago and were a little hesitant to rent in the city as I, during my graduate program, rented with other property management companies who were simply put, awful. Bjerre and Garcia has been an incredible property management company for us. They are responsive, sincere, and beyond helpful with all minor and major issues we faced during our tenure at our apartment. They also did an amazing job balancing their relationship with us, the tenants, with their direct client, the owner. I could not have asked for a better experience. More recently, Ruth was hired and took over the management of our property and I can not say enough good things about her. She is informative, always available, and truly cares about the people she works for. Specifically, Ruth helped us navigate the ins and outs of ending our lease early after we bought our first home and helped us through the process of finding another renter to take over our lease with no hassles. I personally have not ever met a property management company that has ever been so accommodating.
